Volunteers registrations are now open

On Saturday 30 January 2027, the world’s best skiers will take to the legendary Verte des Houches run for the “Kandahar” Alpine Ski World Cup men’s slalom event.

Behind every gate crossed, every athlete welcomed and every spectator guided, there is a team of dedicated volunteers, who are essential to the event’s success.

This year, it might be your turn to join the team!

Come and experience the World Cup from the inside, right next to the course, alongside the international teams and behind the scenes of the organisation, in a sporting, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

 

MISSIONS FOR ALL BACKGROUNDS

Whether you’re comfortable dealing with the public, a regular at sporting events, a keen skier or simply keen to go behind the scenes at an Alpine Ski World Cup, there are plenty of roles on offer before, during and after the event.

In particular, you’ll be able to take part in:

• welcoming athletes, the public and guests;
• access control and site management;
• logistical tasks (handling, setting up and dismantling) at the start, on the slopes and in the finish area;
• refreshment stands, catering and refreshment points;
• transport;
• timekeeping;
• and medical duties.

There’s something for everyone, whatever your background, experience or interests!

When you register, you can indicate your availability, your preferred roles and any specific skills you have.

We’ll do our best to offer you a role that suits your profile and the organisation’s needs.
